# FAQ

The full, always-current FAQ lives on the site: [bextree.com/faq](https://www.bextree.com/faq). The most common questions:

## Do I need an account?

No — there are no accounts, emails, or passwords. Your wallet is your identity. The first time you place a signed bid or list an asset, Bextree creates a lightweight public profile for your wallet with an auto-generated username, which you can customize later.

## Is bidding really free?

Yes. No funds are taken or locked when you bid — only if and when you win. Your wallet does need to hold enough USDC to cover the bid at bid time, since Bextree checks your balance, but nothing moves out of your wallet until you win.

## What happens when I win?

You fund your winning bid into escrow in USDC. LP positions transfer to you automatically from the on-chain vault; Streamflow positions must be transferred by the seller within a 24-hour settlement window.

## What if the seller doesn't deliver?

You get a full, automatic refund of your escrowed payment, plus 30% of the seller's forfeited bond as compensation — no dispute process needed.

## Is there an anti-sniping window?

No. Auctions end at a fixed time and last-second bids are allowed.

## What wallets are supported?

Phantom (recommended), Backpack, and Solflare, plus any other installed wallet through the "More wallets" option. See [Supported Wallets](/resources/supported-wallets.md).

## What does buying an LP position get me?

The whole position — principal plus accrued fees — not a fees-only claim.
